Is 20 minutes really enough? This Bodi program focuses on short, effective workouts!

As a busy mom, sometimes 20-minutes is all I have. That’s why I fell in love with Bodi’s four-week program that combines HIIT and strength training- Job 1.

Now, you’ve probably heard of Bodi (formerly Beachbody). P90X, anyone? Even those who aren’t into fitness have likely seen those commercials.

I wasn’t new to Bodi. I even owned the DVDs back in the day, but I didn’t think I was capable of getting through them anymore. That;s an important point to emphasize.

Despite being a former athlete, after 6 pregnancies, I just didn’t think I had it in me anymore. I didn’t think I’d ever be in that kind of shape again, and I resigned myself to that.

Until I found a coach who believed in me. That truly made all the difference (more on that later).

I tried Job 1 and never looked back.

How much does it cost?

There are different ways to purchase a Bodi membership. That’s best discussed with your coach…oh wait…that’s me! Click here if you’d like to chat about joining!

Job 1 is available through Beachbody On Demand, which is Bodi’s digital streaming fitness platform and it comes with all of the other titles in the BOD library. Yep, P90X is there, too. You can purchase a Total Solution Pack for $159.95. This includes a one-year Beachbody On Demand membership, plus program guides and accessories, digital nutrition programs and 1 on 1 Mentorship with me!

To complete the Job 1 program, you will need some equipment including resistance bands (light and medium/heavy), dumbbells (light, medium and heavy), and a mat. A stationary bike is optional. You can check out some of my equipment recommendations here!

What type of exercises will I be doing?

Job 1 i is a four week long program that includes five 20-minute workouts a week: three days of strength, broken up by two days of cardio (one day of high-intensity interval training and one day of endurance training). The program has four optional indoor cycling workouts that can be swapped in for one of the cardio sessions each week.
